Brighton is about to get a whole lot "shook up" for a great cause!
On Thursday, July 16, when "ELVIS: In Person" starring Matt Stone and the TEC Band brings the experience to the BCPA (Brighton Center for the Performing Arts,) we’re doing more than just celebrating the King of Rock 'n' Roll. We are coming together as a community to ensure our Livingston County students have everything they need to succeed.
A Little Action, A Big Difference
We are thrilled to host a school supplies drive in the BCPA lobby to benefit the LESA (Livingston Educational Service Agency) Backpacks for Kids program. This initiative provides essential supplies to students across Livingston County, helping them start the first day of school with confidence and the right tools.
When to Give
Planning to attend the show? Or just passing through the neighborhood? Everyone is welcome to contribute!
Date: Thursday, July 16
Time: 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Location: BCPA Lobby (on the campus of Brighton High School, 7878 Brighton Road, Brighton, MI 48116)
The lobby doors will open exactly one hour before the 7:00 PM Elvis in Person showtime. This gives you plenty of time to drop off your donations, mingle with fellow fans, and get settled before the music starts.
What to Bring
While all school supplies are appreciated, LESA is often in need of:
Sturdy backpacks
Spiral notebooks
Pencils, pens, markers, and highlighters
Crayons and colored pencils
Erasers
Pencil boxes or pencil bags
Children's scissors
Folders, two pocket
Paper (3-ring, loose-leaf)
Rulers
Let’s show the community the "Brighton spirit" by filling the lobby with donations before the King takes the stage. We can't wait to see you there for a night of hit music and hometown heart!
