Our Mission

To be the premier performing arts venue in Livingston County and to bring the very best education and entertainment in to our community through our Arts: Forward initiative. This initiative is rooted in the basic principle that the talent we welcome to our theater also has a chance to bring along educational opportunities for students in our community.

History

The Brighton Center for the Performing Arts is celebrating its’ 25th anniversary this year. The theater was built in 1994 as part of a bond. The promise was to not only have a theater for the high school but be part of the community and house entertainment for all ages. The BCPA brings in 6-8 performers each year, rents the facility to many outside groups and holds multiple high school events each week. We strive to bring in groups that appeal to the public and also enhance our educational component.  So when you are buying a ticket to see these phenomenal performers you are also supporting the educational advancement of our Brighton students.
